 Band Biography If you're looking for a happy upbeat dance band, this is it! Footloose is a professional and versatile trio that has been playing in Washington since 1989. The group's talent and enthusiasm are the keys to its success and staying-power. It's lengthy and varied song list includes artists such as The Beatles, The Blues Brothers, Bob Segar, Brooks and Dunn, Commander Cody, David Alan Coe, The Eagles, Muddy Waters, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Willie Nelson, and ZZ Top. Essentially, the band plays classic, country, and blues rock - all around good stuff that appeals to a broad range of audiences. When you watch Footloose perform, you'll notice one thing. The trio plays its tunes for the pure joy of it. Each member is a dedicated musician and together they play as one. The bottom line is this, the band doesn't claim to be the hottest, newest, loudest, or flashiest group around. It does claim that if you have just a little bit of soul and enjoy hearing tunes that move you around, then you'll like Footloose. Basically, it's a damn decent band! Footloose is dependable, easy to work with, and has a perfect record for honoring booked gigs. Member Biographies Bill Rehberg - vocals, harmonica, guitar Bill began playing guitar and harmonica at the age of ten and refined his significant vocal talent through college choral work. His diverse background ranges from folk to rock to country to rhythm and blues. Bill is a gifted entertainer who continually seeks to expand his musical skills. Brian McCoy - vocals, drums Brian got his first drum set when he was 16 years old and has been with Bill for almost 20 years. He is a talented and devoted performer who always gives 100%. Brian loves challenges, learns new material with enthusiasm, and strives for growth both as a drummer and a singer. Danimal Rogers - vocals, bass Danimal is an accomplished and experienced musician who has been playing bass since the age of 13. He comes by his genuine passion for music naturally. Danimal's father, Mike Rogers, played keyboards for The Viceroys, a well-known Pacific Northwest band from 1958-1966.
